Ensuite shower

This ensuite shower had leaked past the delaminating tray into the bedroom next door and damaged the floor. Because its a basement flat and there were no obvious external signs, the first the tenants knew there was a problem was when water was seeping through the bedroom laminate when they walked across it!

Bedroom floor

We were asked to replace the laminate flooring in this basement flat bedroom, the outgoing tenants had reported water bubbling up through it when they walked across it, never a good sign!  Turns out the problem was actually coming from the shower in the other bedroom.  Luckily its a concrete floor with nothing below it …

New Worktops

Here the landlord didn’t want to replace the whole kitchen, just new worktops and a quick tidy up.  We replaced the sink with a new tap as the old one was sited on the worktop and had rotted through.  Finishing touches were tiles to form a splashback.

Pigeon hole/ mail storage

A nice simple job, we were asked to supply a shelf with storage underneath for letters to a small block of flats.  we couldn’t find anything suitable so the easiest thing was to make a bespoke one!

Garden Shed

Sometimes the hardest part of the job is actually getting to it!  We were asked to replace this overgrown shed so first we had to cut back the jungle and then dismantle it.  Supplied & fitted a new shed, we braced up the sides, door & frame and roof and fitted metalised glass windows instead …

Window blinds

These offices are just below ground level so we were asked if we could block out some light but not all.  Originally they had blinds fitted that pull across the windows but they were difficult to use and kept snagging.  We fitted blinds that roll upwards instead of downwards so now they can be set …

All finished, washing machine & drier moved into the kitchen.

Shower refurb

Tired old shower and utility room in a rental flat.  We ripped everything out, upgraded and simplified the plumbing, removed the electrical outlets and reconfigured the room.  All ready to put on the market for some new tenants.

Exposed all the way back to the communal feed

Leak under kitchen

There had been an ongoing leak from this flat into the flat below but nobody had been able to find it.  It was narrowed down to being from the kitchen.  The flat had tenants living there so we had to work around them and leave them with partial use of the kitchen, the landlord also …

Nice undercoat

Refresh front door

Quick freshen up of the front door to brighten it up, then painted it matt grey which does seem to be on trend at the moment.

Gloss white, low maintenance for new tenants

Kitchen refurb

Another rental property that was long overdue some attention.  The floor was very weak after continuous leaks from the washing machine, the adjacent bathroom and even the communal water pipes.  In the end we ripped up the whole floor back to the concrete block floor and let it dry before starting again.  Definitely added value …
